Glastonbury may be over but there is plenty more music around the UK to enjoy. So many people tune in to Glastonbury to get in the mood for festivals which is why we thought we would give you a roundup of what’s to come this year!


This festival is a little bit out there because it encompasses more than just the music. Don’t underestimate their line up, but this festival offers something different with a focus on great comedy and theatre alongside music. The food is also to die for with a new area, courtesy of pop up venue food gods, Street Feast.

One of the UK’s longest-running smaller festivals, they might have kept their size small, but they remain an extremely popular event each year, with 2019 being no exception. With six-packed stages and plenty to do across the whole festival, this one is a big one.

One of the biggest dance and electronic music festivals in the world, this one means business and its reputation precedes it now. The award-winning festival commands a great line up year on year and offers three levels of ticket entry: gold, silver, bronze. Alongside the main headliners, there will be over 300 of the best dance and electronic artists and underground stars.

If you like the countryside, then Wilderness Festival sounds great for you – It is one of the most popular boutique festivals, a huge hit with art lovers, with a range of banquets, comedy and even a boating lake. Last year the legendary Nile Rodgers and Chic played – Who will be on the books this year?

Boomtown began 10 years ago by a small team of music enthusiasts, to this day they still run the festival. The festival was designed to put on a party “outside the normal festival experience” and they have succeeded with just that.

Boardmasters is inspired by the freedom, adventure and creativity of surfing and music. As well as incredible music, you can also find surfing, skate, BMX, shopping and other beach activities nearby at the Watergate Bay site.

Reading and Leeds festival are one of the biggest festivals in the UK. They started off with a more rockier line-up but in recent years they have moved into a more pop and up to date music space with appearances from Post Malone and Kendrick Lamar in 2018.
